Terms and conditions:

 

These terms and conditions represent Creased Lightning ironing service’s Terms of Service. Customers are deemed to agree to these terms by using Creased Lightning ironing service. Any deference of these terms should be agreed in writing before any trade or practice is put into place.

 

The pricing for any ironing service is £4 per kilo with a minimum  order of 3kg (any batch of ironing under 3kg will be charged at this minimum rate), regardless of items, as long as the items are suitable for ironing or pressing. Payment is required on delivery by Cash or cheque. A receipt for this will be issued.  

 

Creased Lightning undertakes a 24hr turn-around service for pick-up and delivery of a customer’s items for any ironing or pressing. The only exception to this is bookings taken on a Saturday, which will then be returned on the following Monday.  All pick-up’s and deliveries are made after 6pm in order to maximise the flexibility of our service. If for any unforeseen reason Creased Lightning are unable to deliver on the expected day, the customer will be contacted and Creased Lightning will endeavour to re-deliver the items at the earliest possible time, as agreed with the customer.  

 

Creased Lightning will make a charge of £3 for any re-delivery

needing to be undertaken if the customer is not at home and hasn’t contacted us to inform us of any alternative arrangements, before 5.30pm on the booked day. A card will be left to invite the customer to contact the company at their convenience to re-arrange a delivery day, usually the next working day, but Creased Lightning can vary this to suit the customer’s requirements.

 

It is the customer’s obligation to ensure that no items unsuitable for ironing or pressing are presented for processing, but if this happens, or items are found to be defective in any way, Creased Lightning will withhold the item from being processed and present it back to the customer un-ironed. This is to ensure there are no discrepancies that can be attributed to the company.

 

Creased Lightning’s Loyalty Scheme offers 25% off for every third visit we make, for life*. Please make sure you are issued with a card on first pick-up so that you have your own record of use, and so that we can sign your card on delivery.

 

We do not accept responsibility for any damage that has resulted from ironing items that carry no ironing care instructions, therefore it is at the customer’s risk that items such as these are presented for ironing.

 

Creased Lightning reserve the right to refuse service for any  reason including unreasonably behaviour and demands.

We will at all times endeavour to iron or press items to the highest standards of care of a customers’ items. If the customer feels there has been any damage incurred during the ironing process, they are required to contact the company by phone within 2 working days and also confirmation by letter or email within 5 working days. The company will endeavour to resolve any disputes as soon as possible. Creased Lightning will pay up to £25 per item if it is deemed to be responsible for any damage. If any damage is due to unforeseen ‘acts of god’, Creased Lightning will pay £25 per kilo for the total loss of a customers’ items.

 

Creased Lightning is fully insured with Public Liability Insurance and Goods in Transit, for your peace of mind.

 

*The definition of life means ‘for as long as creased lightning run the loyalty scheme promotion, which can be changed without notice’
